Cheers
The countdown has begun. Everything is set for the showdown between us and the Kiduvaas on Sunday. Now, the question is what would we do on course of the match to keep any spectator, or worse, ourselves amused. Frankly, we never really gave a thought about it until the word was out that the Kiduvaas were bringing in someone special for off-field entertainment. Hold your breath guys, for the news that is gonna rock you like no other. Well, the Kiduvaas have roped in 'Nithya' as their prime cheerleader.
We don't have a clue as to how her attire will be. Will it be one of those immaculate outfits she usually adorns herself with? Or will it be something more scintillating? We will have to wait till Sunday for that mystery to reveal itself.
In the meantime we are celebrating the split that the Kiduvaas are having in their ranks. It seems like Buffalo Pigeon is not happy with the way their owner is treating them. BP has given several hints on his unwillingness to lead the team.
In any case, it's important for us that we keep practising for the Big Match. So, I'm off to the ground now.

The Kiduvaas
Finally there is some news from our rival camp. They have christened their team as Kiduvaas and its logo has been released. Now let me take you guys to the behind-the-scenes story of this logo.
Yesterday the owner/captain (he himself is unsure of his role in the team) of our rivals was showing his incapability with MS Paint when he was trying to conjure up a logo out of several downloaded images. Well, it was obvious that this guy knew nothing about cricket, when we got a glimpse of one of the images. Guys, hold your breath. It was the image of a baseball! Imagine, the logo of a cricket team featuring baseball. When they finally brought it out declaring it as their logo, we couldn't help but notice that they had already lost their wicket, without a single ball bowled. Check out the below image and corroborate with me.

This morning, one of our guys came across this pathetically crafted logo and he was so overwhelmed with sympathy that he decided to design a logo for his rival team. And then with his unrelenting effort the Kiduvaas were finally able to release a decent-looking logo.
Meanwhile the buzz from the rival camp is that Mr. Buffalo Pigeon will be leading the pack in full glory. And keeping in tradition with the Champions of IPL 2 and the defending T20 World Cup Champions, Pigeon will double up as the wicket keeper too. So we believe that we wont be gaining any extras from behind the stumps as it is nearly impossible for the ball to traverse past this mountain of a human being! That's all for now. Bye.

Flash News
Unveiling of Logo
The unveiling of AB logo was officially conducted today without much hype and hoopla. Unlike our arch rivals we like to keep a low profile, until we go out into the middle of the ground, that is.
Well, coming back to our mind-blowing logo, it was conceptualized by lesser known designers Warworths-Renders from Great Britain and I'm sure that with the popularity that our logo is going to gain in coming weeks, they would definitely become a name to reckon with in the future.
As all of you might be knowing, we are several steps ahead of the rest of the lot and it isn't difficult to guess that our rivals will only be thinking about the concept of a logo after seeing ours. We definitely welcome any sort of competition but we are not sure if our rivals do have the spirit of the game, both on and off the field. As for us, we have the spirit in our name itself, not to mention our souls!

Debut
The end of May is only nearing and it's been a week since it has started raining in Thiruvananthapuram, the capital city of Kerala. There are about a couple of weeks left before we get to the date we have fixed to make our debut in the Kerala Premier League.
At this moment, we are keeping a close watch on the team we will be playing against, if the rains permit us, that is. From what we hear, they have been organizing secret meetings and discussions to usurp the strategies of ABs but we are none too concerned about that.
We keep doing what is best for us. That is, honing our skills and tuning it to perfection. So we will leave strategies to the think tanks -fortunately we don't have too many of that variety in our team - and focus on more important issues.
And while the debate on Official and Unofficial is still going on, we plan to play the waiting game. You know, driving your enemies to make mistakes. So, its ciao for now. More posts can be expected soon.
